There are Others Like Us...

As I was up researching attachment in the wee hours of the night I came across a great blogger Christine. I was so excited to finally be able to read stories of people that are in the same boat. To no I am not alone is powerful and I encourage you to check out her blog and the other bloggers of RAD kiddos.

Christine also linked to this article that you might enjoy: http://www.housecallscounseling.com/2011/07/05/feel-as-bad-as-me-or-the-meaning-of-fury-in-adopted-children/

Oh, I've been reading her blog for what seems like forever. Wish I'd known that you didn't know about it yet - I would have pointed you there. She is going to be in Orlando, too. :-) You have to watch her youtube videos on therapeutic parenting! And I am seriously thinking of going to the Chicago conference next year that she went to this year from which you just posted the link. Wanna go ?

Just talked to Billy Kaplan, and registration for the Chicago conference may open up very soon (hopefully in the next two weeks?!?).

You'll know via my blog, as soon as I do!!

Amber - Check out this blog post from a guest blogger on her site. Definitely send it on to family, etc. I found it very helpful, as did others!

I was catching up on your blog and sorry to hear you're struggling so much with this. So hard. It scares me reading about it. I know you will deal with this as you have with everything else... with much wisdom, love, patience, and courage.

(Btw, we're still waiting.)
